Apart from its role as a provider of credit, the Society is able to play both proactive and supportive role to make the life of small farmers more stable. Objective of Sahyadri is to help its members attain social and economic betterment through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the co-operative principles. For achieving this objective, the society is granting loans to members and deposits are accepted from members for mobilizing resources for granting loans.
