Notes :

1. Savings Account will continue to earn 5.00 % on daily closing balance

2. Additional interest @ 0.50% is payable to Senior citizens for their deposits of

91 days and above, as shown in the chart.

3. Maximum interest payable for term deposits will be 8.25 % for periods of one year to

two years(including both dates ) for ordinary citizens and 8.75% for senior citizens.

4. As hitherto, a penalty @ 0.50 % shall be levied for premature closure of term

deposits from the applicable interest rate. The applicable rate of interest payable

for such deposits shall be the prevailing rate applicable on the date of deposit

for the period in which the deposit actually runs or the interest rate that is ruling

on the date of closure for the same period whichever is lower.
